We continue to tell you the stories of our mini-grant winners who, despite the war, have not been afraid of difficulties and continue to develop their businesses.

This is Mykhailo Magdenko, the owner of a bakery in Vinnytsia Oblast. His business is a hobby that has turned into a livelihood. He started his business 2 years ago, and when the war came, he did not stop, but began to develop his favorite business even more.

Today, the bakery produces 10 types of bread and 15 types of pastries, but Mykhailo wants to double its capacity and add unleavened bread and pita bread to its product range.

To achieve this goal, he took part in the "Course to Independence" mini-gran contest initiated by the Common Help UA project and partners. And he won!

Now Mykhailo will be able to purchase equipment for his dream project, which will help improve the work of the workshop and create new additional jobs.

And we wish him and all the project participants success and prosperity.

Let's keep on the Course to Independence!

The "Course to Independence" project is being implemented thanks to the cooperation of Ukrainian business and the German Development Bank: Astarta-Kyiv Agro-Industrial Holding and DEG. The implementation partners are the Believe in Yourself Charitable Foundation, the Light of Hope Charitable Organization and the AMEP Local Economic Development Agency of Zelenodolsk.
